On the morning of June 11, the opening ceremony of mandarin class of "ten thousand people plan" of five universities in Hong Kong and Macao, which was hosted by the Ministry of Education and was undertaken by Beijing Language and Culture University was held in the 200 classroom, south main building.
This course is the Ministry of Education’s "ten thousand people plan" mandarin class in Beijing Language and Culture University. A total of 69 students from The Hong Kong Institute of Education, The University of Hong Kong, University of Macau, Macau/Macao University of Science and Technology, and CW CHU COLLEGE participated in the course and were divided into three classes. In the next two weeks, the students will learn mandarin in the BLCU, take part in traditional cultural experience courses such as Beijing opera and calligraphy, visit the imperial palace, the national museum, the Great Wall and other places to conduct cultural inspection and social practice activities, and take part in the mandarin test of the National Language Committee when the course ends.
In the future, BLCU will continue to give full play to the advantages of language teaching and subject research, continuously strengthen communication and exchanges with universities in Hong Kong and Macao, accumulate experience, and make unremitting efforts to host the exchange programs between teachers and students in Hong Kong, Macao and mainland universities, and work jointly to make a better future.
