On the morning of October 9, local time, Confucius Institute at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) was invited to participate in the third International Cultural Festival of Aragon Campus of National Autonomous University of Mexico, which invited more than 50 countries and international organizations. The Confucius Institute sent three teachers and one student volunteer to participate.
During the event, there was a large crowd in front of the booth of Confucius Institute, and teachers and students came to visit and consult in an endless stream. The three teachers of Confucius Institute performed paper cutting, Chinese knots and Chinese paintings for the audience at different times, arousing strong interest from local teachers and students, and everyone rushed to have a try in person.
This is the third time that the National Autonomous University of Mexico has participated in its international cultural festival. Through this activity, the teachers of the Confucius Institute at UNAM not only introduced and displayed Chinese culture to local teachers and students, but also stimulated their enthusiasm for learning Chinese, and encouraged more and more students to joined in Chinese learning.
