From September 6 to 7, the third Chinese history training for high school teachers sponsored by the Confucius Institute at UCSC was successfully held in the Chicarducci campus of UCSC. Twenty history teachers or Chinese teachers from more than 20 high schools in lombardia attended the training.

Professors have explained Chinese history and culture from various angles, including a brief introduction to "Chinese History and World History", world history and Chinese history, the origins and development of Confucianism, female role in Chinese society and so on. The training also added many interesting new contents, such as Yu Hua's novel “Brother”, Li Kun - Wu's “cartoon Life of One Chinese”, Feng Xiaogang's movie “1942”and so on.

The training lasted for two days. Teachers and students were enthusiastic. Through this training, students learned more about Chinese history and culture, mastered practical teaching methods and gained a new perspective of understanding China. Everyone expressed their hope that Confucius Institute would organize more such training courses to provide opportunities for Italian local teachers to understand China.
