On the afternoon of April 24, tea fragrance overflowing in the traditional and elegant BLCU tea school experience room, 15 local Chinese teachers from New Zealand, savored the taste of tea with two senior tea artists Zhou Jingting and Cai Nan from the tea school, and personally experienced Chinese tea culture of tea zen unity.

The two tea artists explained the basic knowledge of Chinese tea, introduced the six basic teas and the brewing methods of representative teas in China, and demonstrated the usage methods of commonly used tea sets, the etiquette of honoring and tasting tea and the cultural connotation in it.

In the short two-hour experience, New Zealand native Chinese teachers not only felt the wonderful fragrance and taste of Chinese tea, learnt to make a good cup of tea, watched the Chinese tea art performance, also they personally experienced the fun of making tea, honoring tea and tasting tea under the guidance of the artists. Students were amazed at the variety of Chinese tea, surprised by the morbidezza of tea performance, impressed by the profound tea culture. Through the further experience of identifying tea, tasting tea and making tea, the students realized that Chinese tea is not a simple combination of tea and water. A good cup of tea is more about the connection between mind and tea and between minds, which well explains the "positive, harmony, tranquility, elegance" spirit of Chinese zen tea culture.
