2018 Spring Taijiquan Class in the Confucius Institute at the University of South Carolina Ended Successfully

Recently, a group of students and professors of the University of South Carolina who love Chinese traditional martial arts - Taijiquan are practicing Taijiquan in the center of the University of South Carolina at 4: 15 - 5: 45 p.m. every Tuesday. The spring Taijiquan class in the University of South Carolina has given ten classes in total, attracting 21 students to attend. Through this class, the students have learned the basic footwork and posture of Taijiquan, and all the students have learned effectively.

After more than two months of hard study, the students have acquired solid basic skills, steady movements and the moving essence of tai chi. During the learning process, students are full of great interest in Taijiquan, and they have asked the University of South Carolina to continue to run Taijiquan class. Liu Xiaoyan, an outstanding student in the tai chi class, who has participated in the tai chi fan performance of Columbia international festival, has won praise and favorable comments from the audience, and has received a good reputation for tai chi class of the University of South Carolina.

Taijiquan, as a Chinese traditional sport, fully embodies the essence of Chinese traditional culture.
