On June 10th, the fourth Beijing Chinese Star competition for international students reached it's conclusion. The event was held at Beijing Normal University in the Student Activity Center. A BLCU student from Thailand named Shi Yu He and BLCU student from Russia named David both won in the "Top Ten Chinese Star" titles. They won by virtue of their solid language skills and excellent performances! In addition, BLCU's Mongolian student Batusana received the “Best in Show” award. In addition to these well-received awards, our university also won the "Outstanding Organization Award"! University professors from College of Humanities Feng Weigang, Zheng Haiyan and Song Ruijing all received “Excellent Advisor Awards” by students and teachers alike.

　　The first round included a Chinese speech titled "My International Student Life” and discussed life at BLCU. Both Thai student Shi Yu He and Russian student David entertained the audience with a delightful performance that brought them to winning ranking and entry into the second show. In the second round, entitled “Chinese Celebrity Imitations” Russian student David left the audience with a deep impression through his powerful recitation of Li Bai's Drinking Alone by Moonlight” . BLCU's Thai student Jade Gata performances Hua Mulan's homesickness during her service in the army was full of emotion and well received by the judges. The performances captivated the audience, enabling the contestants to receive “Top 10 Chinese Star” rankings, rankfirst place among all the participants.
