On the afternoon of March 13, in Room 360, Teaching Building 2,British teacher Andrew Hillman gave a lecture about Pub Culture, which belongs to the Series of Lectures of Alien Culture,held by BLCU.

In this lecture, Andrew reviewed the origin of Pub Culture in Britain,and introduced the progress of the development of Pub Culture there. Knowledges about meanings of pub’s signboard, responsibilities of landlord, barmaid, bouncer and regular are also brought to the listeners.

The lecture turned out to be a great success.It attracted so many students and teachers, that some of them had to set more chairs in the passageway.
