Macao's Institutes of Higher Learning Delegation of 25 members visited BLCU. BLCU's Party
Committee Secretary Wang Lujiang, Vice President Qi Dexiang welcomed and received the
delegation.
Before Macao was returned to China, BLCU had already provided Macau government officials
with training in Putonghua and Chinese administrative civil service courses. After
reunification, BLCU continued to offer the Court of Final Appeal advanced Chinese language
and writing courses. BLCU cooperated with Macao College of Engineering to create a Master's
Degree Program, established the “Macao-BLCU Cultural Research Center”, and develops
cultural research events. In the summer of 2011, Macao University of Science and Technology
and BLCU launched the summer study program. Currently, BLCU has 24 undergraduate students
and one doctoral student who are from Macao enrolled in our school.
