Eight international students from BLCU competed in the The Fifth Chinese Cuisine Competition
which is one section of 2011 Beijing International Student Chinese Culture Series. Included
in the competition were student Wu Yong Hui from Indonesia and Xu Xue Li from Malaysia who
collaborated to stir fry fish-flavored eggplant. They were honored with the third prize.
Students from Beijing's major colleges participated in this lively event. BLCU's
international students performed outstandingly and during the fixed time, made 20 standard
Chinese dumpling and 5 creative dumplings, expressing their outstanding craftsmanship and
culinary abilities.
