Recently, 22 French teachers and students who love Chinese culture attended the “Experience Chinese Language and Culture” short term language training program, which is undertaken by the BLCU Confucius Institute Project Department and organized by Confucius Institute Headquarters / Hanban.
The theme of the training project is “The Comparative Study of Fashion Culture between French and Chinese Youth”, which is the first student research team studying fashion culture and is also the first team to visit China this year sent by the La Rochelle Confucius Institute.
During the 12 days trip, the group members learned Tai Chi, calligraphy, tea culture and had a deep understanding of the extensive and profound Chinese culture. They walked into the BLCU classroom to experience the charm of the Chinese language. The success of the activities promotes the understanding of French and Chinese contemporary youth towards the fashion cultures of the two countries, further promotes the cultural exchanges between China and France youth, deepens the friendship between the young people of the two countries.
