In the morning of April 17, Suez Canal University Confucius Institute held the opening ceremony for the Cultural Club, the Chinese and foreign Deans, all Chinese teachers, students of Confucius Institute and students majored in Chinese attended in the scene to celebrate and the atmosphere was lively.

    In the opening ceremony, the Chinese and foreign Deans of the Confucius Institute introduced the purpose of the Culture Club is to encourage more Chinese language learners and enthusiasts to experience traditional Chinese culture through relaxing ways and individual participation.

    After the opening ceremony, Suez Canal University Confucius Institute held the first calligraphy exhibition. Students showed great appreciation to the calligraphy works on display and expressed that close contact with Chinese calligraphy works let them have a more profound understanding of Chinese culture. While in calligraphy classroom, the students have picked up the brush and wrote their names on Xuan paper under the guidance of the teacher, the atmosphere was lively and pleasant.
