From November 4 to 7, BLCU School of Preparatory Education carried out “Visit Past and Present in Central Area” activities for China preppy, enhancing the knowledge and understanding of the excellent Chinese culture and the achievements of reform and opening up for Chinese Government Scholarship Foundation students, enhancing the honor sense of Chinese government scholarship students and to stimulate enthusiasm for learning.

　　This perception of Chinese cultural and social experience activities selected the Central Plains region of Henan province, the originated place of Chinese civilization. The total target of the activity is to browse the current China, feel the flourishing development of the contemporary Chinese industrial production, the outlook of rural and agricultural economy, accompanied by the past, to experience the civilization of Chinese characters and grotto art.

　　A total of 180 people participated in the event, the social practice of language and culture is the best way to experience China, understand China, and apply the language knowledge and skills in the real context, which is important to improve the students’ comprehensive language skills, culture and social adaptability, collective and discipline consciousness.
