On September 24, the Marshall high school Confucius Classroom under George Mason University Confucius Institute held the inaugurated ceremony.

　　Marshall high school is located in the north of Virginia, named after the United States Army General Marshall. It has long been the nation’s best public high school and is top 10 in the state of Virginia which is famous for its public education. The school has more than 1500 students, owns a large scale and standard management. Its Chinese language teaching has a long history and achieves great success in utilizing teaching materials and reforming teaching methods. Its Chinese teaching projects represent the highest level regardless of the number or quality in local public schools.

　　The establishment of Marshall high school Confucius Classroom will become the stepping stage for the whole school and even the whole North Virginia area for Chinese language teaching. George Mason University Confucius Institute will provide help through teaching support, teacher training and cultural activities, etc., and conduct close cooperation, further promote the Chinese language teaching and cultural promotion.
