Thanks to the efforts of the school staff and the help of the British government’s promotion of Chinese teaching, at the beginning of the new semester in September, Sheffield Confucius Institute has made considerable progress in the teaching of primary and secondary schools in the region.

　　In school Hatfield, Chinese teaching is also booming. The Confucius Institute sent teachers to take charge of the Chinese language teaching there and received high praise. The school’s recent Chinese language activities drew attention from the British mainstream media BBC and were reported by it, which is great encouragement whether for schools, students, or our Confucius Institute.
