On 27 June, the “United Nations 70 years: the Role and the Future - To Commemorate the 70 Anniversary of the Establishment of the United Nations” symposium was held in Beijing Language and Culture University.

　　Nearly 70 delegates from politics, academics participated in the meeting and jointly explored the role played by the United Nations in today’s international affairs, the reform and future of the United Nations, China’s UN diplomacy and China’s multilateral diplomacy strategies. The seminar takes the United Nations and the current world order, the United Nations reform and the future, the United Nations peace and security, the United Nations specialized agencies, the United Nations and human rights as the theme. The seminar is also one of the 70 anniversary activities of the victory of Anti-Japanese War and the world Anti-Fascist War.
