On April 20th, vice president Dong Lijun visited Holland Leiden University, discussed about the cooperation between the two universities with President Carel Stolker and signed the “Contract for Joint Cultivation of the students in Beijing Language and Culture University and Holland Leiden University in Computer Science.”
The two sides fully affirmed the student exchange of computer science major and agreed to expand the project based on the original scale. According to the new agreement, our university will select 6 or more graduate students to study computer science, business communication or media information technology in the postgraduate school in Leiden University. Leiden University will provide students scholarships that can cover 1/4 tuition in each academic year.
Up to now, altogether 38 students in College of Information Science in BLCU went to Leiden University to advance their study.
