Training Classes for Volunteer Chinese Teachers toAmerica, Canada, Australia and New Zealand Confucius Institute Began in BLCU
On the morning of May 30, the opening ceremony of training class for volunteer Chinese teachers to America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand Confucius Institute in the second half of 2014 was held in Yifu Lecture Hall of our school.
The training was for volunteer teachers going to America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand Confucius Institute, which lasted for five weeks. According to the job requirements, and at the same time combining with the characteristics of the students of the countries, the training focused on cases and oriented on tasks, taking experimental trial teaching andcomments in the whole training. At the same time, the training opened specific classes like “speak to the teachers”, in which teachers can answer students’ questions face to face. It meant to cultivate a number of volunteer teachers with excellent teaching skills, excellent psychological quality, outstanding comprehensive abilities through 300 hours of intensive training, to successfully complete the work of Chinese language teaching and promoting Chinese culture.
