Recently, Institute Of Contemporary China Studies of our school received an adoption demonstration from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences that the research report “Suggestions on the Names of China Surrounding Sea Areas” (author: Li Yuming, Guo Fenglan , Zheng Chengjun) was published on the 231th "Exclusives of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences” (by China), which meant that this think tank study walked into Zhongnanhai.

　　The research reports pointed out that the awareness of the standardization of names for China surrounding sea ares was very weak from the perspective of national security strategy of view, and raised issues related to it and explored appropriate solutions.
