BLCU greatly Improved in the 2014 Chinese University Graduates Quality Ranking
Recently, Wu Shulian, from the China Academy of Management Science, made a ranking list of 2014 undergraduates from 734 universities in his book Pick University and Choose a Major: 2014 College Entrance Examination Guide. Beijing Language and Culture University's ranking improved from last year’s the 83rd to the 71st. The two indicators level of teachers and students’ quality have improved greatly over last year.
Engaged in Chinese University Evaluation for 23 years, Wushulian thinks that among the indicators, there are two indicators which have decisive significance on students. First, the average academic level of teachers. The teachers decide the future of students. One can exceed giants standing on the shoulders of giants. Therefore, the school with high teacher academic standards is the right choice. Second, the freshman enrollment mark. The average IQ of the students affects the surrounding environment, that is to say one will be influenced by close association. Therefore, the school of a higher freshman enrollment mark is the right choice.
