BLCU Held the 2013 Cooking Contest

  On December 14, in order to promote the Chinese food culture, promote the cooking skills of school catering, and stimulate the enthusiasm of staff, the 2013 Cooking Contest was held in Beijing Language and Culture University, which was jointly organized by the school labor unions and logistic services group.

  After the host gave the order, 10 players started to chop the potatoes, the potato sticks which were as thin as needles presented on the chopping block, attracting continuious cheers. At the same time, the interactive session pushed the atmosphere into a new climax, in which the popular noondle chef Su Yongjiang demonstrated his skills of making noodles on site and guided the students to do noodles themselves, making them very surprised after seeing the dough geting thinner and thinner; and in which with the guidance of chefs of YiXin Food, students also experienced the exotic food culture throug making sushi on their own.
