Chinese and Foreign Volunteers of BLCU Went to Longhai Elementary School to Teach Foreign Cultures
On November 29 afternoon, organized by BLCU Volunteer service team, both Chinese and foreign volunteers went to Longhai elementary school to participate in series activities of supporting education.
The volunteers were divided into six groups and were assigned to the fifth and sixth grade respectively. They introduced the history of culture and national customs of different countries through teaching the daily language and doing games. Volunteer Bial launched a game letting the students draw Pakistani flag and characters. There were also volunteers from Uzbekistan introducing their country's specialties to the children. Students of Longhai elementary school listened very attentively, put forward their questions, and actively interact with the volunteers.
Colorful classroom, painting the world with heart, this activity is to inherit voluntary dreams and promote BLCU’s features. And this is another enlightenment education program following the successful Chinese characters cultural activities last semester carried out in our school. There is no national boundaries between volunteers and exchange warm the heart, which the foreign and Chinese students of BLCU are walking hand in hand on the road of supporting education.
