BLCU Chinese and Foreign Students International Review Forum was Lectured
On December 4th afternoon, all seats in Yifu lecture hall were occupied. The first phase of the activity “Listen to me” Beijing Language and Culture University Chinese and Foreign Students International Review Forum was successfully held. The forum invited Russian student David who have gained lots of attention recently in the community as a guest speaker to explore the social situation hot issues in Russia with Chinese and foreign students.
Party secretary Li Yuming congratulated the success of the event and highly appreciated the role of Chinese and Foreign Students International Review Forum played in promoting the integration of Chinese and foreign students.
Russian student David talked about his views on national social hot issues as a Russian “90s” youth. He shared his feeling mainly on three issues like the social situation in Russia after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, “Putin hot” among Russia's young people, and the circumstances of the Caucasus ethnic issues. There were small quizes session in the activity, which deepened students’ understanding and interest of Russia. In the end, David also revealed his dream which was to become a scholar on Chinese, and make contribution to cultural exchange between China and Russia.
