BLCU and J.F.Oberlin University Jointly Organized “Chinese and Japanese Language and Culture Forum”
From October 31st to November 4th, “Chinese and Japanese Language and Culture Forum” was held in BLCU. On October 31 morning, the forum was officially opened. Both Chinese and Japanese scholars came together and had a lively interaction on teaching English as a second language. More than 40 postgraduates and doctoral candidates of the related major listened to the conference.
Vice president Cao Zhiyun delivered a welcome speech. He said that the significance of this forum was that it provided an important platform for scholars of both country to have a academic discussion on teaching English as a second language. Beijing Language and Culture University and J.F.Oberlin University are friendly sister school, and the forum marked that the cooperation between the two universities had entered into a new stage of development.
