BLCU Student Won Championship in National College Interpreters Contest
On October 26, 2013, “YongWang Cup” the Sixth National College Interpreters Contest was held at Beijing International Studies University. After intense competition, interpreter Ma Huiyuan, 2012 postgraduate of the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation of our school, won the first prize in French consecutive interpretation, and two postgraduates of 2011 Japanese simultaneous directions Feng Gucheng and Wang Chaoyang both won championship in the Japanese simultaneous and consecutive interpretation with their excellent performance, which won the honor for BLCU.
As the well-known and very authoritative non-generic language interpreter competition, the National College Interpreters Contest had been successfully held six times. In the previous contests, our school had won the first prize several times with its actual strength.
