Chinese and Foreign Volunteers in BLCU Communicated with Each Other
On October 31st night, language service department of BLCU volunteers held an activity to let both Chinese and foreign volunteers communicate with each other and introduce voluntary programme which foreign students can attend.
Chinese and foreign students shared their understanding of voluntary activities, voluntary experiences, and voluntary activities which they mostly interested in.
Foreign students performed some impromptu talent shows. A girl from Malaysia taught students sign language, a student from Bangladesh sang the Chinese song “达阪城的姑娘”(The Girl from Dabancheng), and also there were students who danced self-compiled dance. Karolina, from Poland said “I am willing to teach children and participate in some voluntary activities”. “I love this activity and have had lot of fun”, Kelly, a girl form South Africa said in not so fluent Chinese.
