On Sep. 10th morning, the 2013 BLCU freshmen opening ceremony was grandly hosted in Yifu gym.
Secretary Li Mingyu issued scholarship and certificates for the 2013 outstanding freshmen. He hoped that they can play as a model, making students cherish learning opportunities and learning conditions more and acquire progress in specialized courses, ideological and moral cultivation, and physical and mental qualities.
Principal Cui Xiliang expressed cordial greetings in his speech to Chinese students from across the country and international students from around the world. He made three demands on the students: being knowledgeable, wise and mind. He also hoped the students live a happy and healthy life and have a free thought in BLCU.
On the opening ceremony, representatives of freshmen presented a wreath to the school leaders, professors and teacher representatives and made a solemn apprentice ceremony, expressing admiration and holiday wishes to teachers. Representatives of students at school also help freshmen representatives wear the badge of BLCU, welcoming them being a new members of BLCU family.
