The 1977 Alumni Professor Yao Jinqing Came to Alma Mater BLCU to Impart Experience on Translation
On May 30th, Graduate School Of Translation And Interpretation hosted seminar of “MTI and Translation training”. Specially invited professor of Graduate School Of Translation And Interpretation of Shanghai International Studies University, senior translation specialist and the 1977 alumni of BLCU Yao Jinqing came back to BLCU to discuss and communicate with the students and impart translation experience. Professor Yao said that one should have professional literacy to do translation, therefor it was very important to do actual training. Then professor Yao briefly introduced the developmental course and the operation project of the actual translation training base of SISU. He also had an special and comprehensive opinion on the characteristics of modern professional translation from the development trend in translating market to detailed time and wordy when respond to customers.
