Give Full Play to the Sense of Ownership Make Concerted Effort to Realize BLCU’s Dream
On April 26th and 27th, The fifth Faculty and Trade Union Congress (the second Conference of the seventh Labor Union Congress) of BLCU was grandly held in lecture hall Room 209 in the first teaching building. The theme of this congress was to clarify the orientation of development of the school, push forward the institutional construction of modern universities’, and to realize BLCU’ dream. 127 faculty representatives attended the congress. They offered advice and suggestions in constructing a world-class language university and realizing BLCU’s dream. Hundreds of representatives include professors, democratic parties, non-government affiliated staff and students attended the congress.
The Party Secretary Li Yuming made the opening speech “BLCU’s Dream: Building a World-class Language University”. President Cui Xiliang gave the working report “Be United to Overcome Difficulties and Create a New Phase for School”.
The representatives had a heated and serious discussion on the development orientation of school, objectives and key emphasis in work. They also gave their opinions on issues like how to build a management system with high efficiency, and which can also remain profitable and dynamic according to the requests of building modern university system.
