On December 2, local time, the Confucius Institute of Havana University held HSK and HSKK Chinese language examinations, which covered HSK level 1 to 6 and HSKK level 1 to senior level. The total number of HSK participants was 146, up 73 % from the previous year, and the total number of HSKK participants was 88, up 87 % from the previous year.

The number of applicants for the high-level Chinese test at the Confucius Institute of Havana University has increased significantly, such as 25 applicants for HSK Grade 5, Grade 6 and HSKK high standard, up 108 % from the previous year, reflecting a marked improvement in the teaching level and language ability of the Confucius Institute at the University of Havana.
