On November 6, the international student work arrangement meeting for the fall semester of 2018 was held in conference room 909 of the comprehensive building. Vice President Huang Yifang attended the meeting, which was attended by relevant leaders such as International Student Management Office, International Student Enrollment Office, Security Office and Logistics Service Group.

Vice President Huang Yifang affirmed the unremitting efforts of the international student management team and thanked them for their hard work, saying that Beijing Language and Culture University attaches great importance to the international student work and has made demands on the international student management service education this semester. First, the international student management system and mechanism should be improved on the basis of the establishment of institutions, and the construction of the international student counselor team, the international student counselor team and training should be strengthened. Second, efforts should be done in international student daily management, and find problems and solve them. Third, establish a student-oriented work concept, improve work requirements and standards, and efforts should be done in international student management. Fourth, strengthen the joint efforts of departments, improve the collaboration of colleges, and promote the development of schools with first-class management.

The International Student Enrollment Office introduced the enrollment of international students in BLCU this semester. This arrangement will lay a good foundation for the smooth development of all aspects of international students’ work this semester.
