President Liu Li said in his speech that BLCU has rich experience in Chinese international education and sinology research, and has further developed BLCU’s advantages in spreading Chinese language and culture. He has set up a high-quality platform to connect sinologists at home and abroad, and has established friendly cooperative relations with overseas sinologists and sinology research institutions, contributing to the development of international sinology.

The young sinologist research program aims to build a global platform to support overseas young sinologists to carry out Chinese research, to create opportunities for young talents in China’s research fields from various countries to exchange and cooperate with outstanding Chinese academic, cultural, educational institutions and scholars, to provide convenience and substantial assistance for their academic research, and to use talent cultivation as an opportunity to promote long-term and stable ties between academic institutions of various countries and Chinese research institutions and think tanks, so as to realize exchanges and mutual learning between the two sides and jointly promote the development of Chinese research.
