On the evening of September 16, the Beijing Language and Culture University 2017 Welcoming Ceremony was held in Beiyu Litang.

A magnificent percussion "A scene of bustling activity” opened the prelude to the celebration party. Liu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the BLCU party committee expressed a warm welcome to the 2017 new students to join the "Mini United Nations".

The first chapter of the party was "the beauty of fusion". Students from various countries have brought a spectacular costume show "BLCU fashion", so that students could feel the the multicultural charm of the “Mini United Nations” in the colorful national dress show. In the second chapter, it was the "Youth Song", the chorus team brought Akabella "Imagine", which presented everyone a feast of hearing with a warm song. The third chapter showed the "BLCU Dream". The retired old staff of BLCU to brought the song and dance "Toast for the motherland," expressed the deep blessing of the motherland. The evening came to an end in the "Over the Rainbow", "Happy Birthday to You " and "BLCU Song" presented by the joint performance of faculty chorus and the student chorus.

BLCUers would turn their gratefulness to a bunch of unbeaten flowers for their alma mater's birthday, which would bring infinite fragrance to BLCU; BLCUers would turn their blessings into a surging song, for the vigorous development of their alma mater. BLCUers would full of dreams and strength, and wished their alma mater a even more bright future.
