On the Afternoon of June 1, President Liu Li met with Prof. Sorin Rugina, President of the University of Oviedius in Romania, Romania and Ms. Iolanda Tighiliu together with her team, Director of the International Department of the University of Ovidius.

President Liu Li welcomed the guests of the University of Ovidius, expressed thanks to the firm support for the long-standing support of Sorin Rugina in promoting Chinese language teaching and communication of Chinese culture. He expressed his admiration for his devotion to the development of the Constanta Confucius Classroom. He said that BLCU would like to expand and deepen cooperation with the University of Ovidius in the discipline construction, teachers and students exchange, Confucius classroom and other aspects; he welcomed Romanian students to learn in BLCU, BLCU is willing to help within their means; he hoped to work with the University of Ovidius to develop the Confucius Classroom to an independent Confucius Classroom and further promote the spread of Chinese and Chinese culture in the Black Sea area.

Sorin Rugina said the University of Ovidius highly valued the relationship with BLCU. With the concerted efforts of both sides, the Constanta Confucius Classroom had gradually developed into an important department of their school with the efforts from both sides. In the future, he hoped that the two sides to cooperate in computer, literature, business and other areas. The cooperation between the two sides would start from the talks and write a new chapter.
