From December 10 to 11, the 11th Confucius Institute Conference was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Beijing Language and Culture University was awarded the advanced Chinese cooperative institution of Confucius Institute, Zhang Daojian, Dean of Confucius Institute in Islamabad, Pakistan, was awarded the advanced individual of Confucius Institute.

In order to expand the cooperation with Confucius Institutes of “One Belt, One Road”, to promote the development of local Chinese teachers’ training for Confucius Institute teachers training center, Confucius New Sinology program, International Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate training and Chinese high-end talents training, the delegation of our university held the Confucius Institute teacher center project work conference.

In the future, our university will also actively promote the construction of high-end Confucius Institute, vigorously promote the cooperation with world-renowned universities in international Chinese education, and build Confucius Institutes in areas along the “One Belt, One Road” and the neighboring countries, and carry out a variety of educational and cultural projects, to enhance the exchange and understanding of Chinese and foreign culture, open up the strategic objectives for our university’s education services and enhance the overall strength and influence of our university.
