In the afternoon of October 13, Secretary Li Yuming met with the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research of Romania in Room 906 of the new Comprehensive Building. The two sides held cordial and friendly talks and further discussed the cooperation and exchanges between our university and Romanian institutions of higher learning.

Secretary Li expressed his warm welcome to the delegation’s visit. At present, the cooperation between BLCU and the Romanian universities is mainly focused on student exchange and the establishment of the Confucius Institute. In the next stage, the Romanian Ministry of Education is strongly supported in the establishment of the Romanian language and the establishment of the Romanian Language and Culture Research Center. So that more teachers and students have the opportunity to learn the Romanian language and understand the Romanian culture. At the same time, Luo Fang also said that the expansion of educational cooperation is the common interest of both sides, so look forward to in the near future to implement specific cooperation projects to achieve teacher exchange, student mobility.
