On September 26, a delegation from the Chinese Ministry of Education visited Kansai Foreign Studies University and the Confucius Institute. The delegation visited the Nishinomiya Campus of Kansai Foreign Studies University and held talks with President Masahiro Kurumoto and President Jin Weiwei of the Confucius Institute on future friendly cooperation.
Xu Tao, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, said in the talks that the exchange of staff, students and academic exchanges will be more active in the next five years. And said the Chinese government will promote the land and sea trade, under the guidance Asia-Europe economic circle “One Road, One Belt”, will not only cultivate native language speakers, but also actively cultivate the mastery of economic, educational system of talents. In this regard, the Ministry of Education will fully support the Kansai International Studies University and the Confucius Institute to establish relevant exchanges and cooperation projects.
After the meeting, Mr. Xu and his party accompanied by Professor Jin Weiwei, Dean of the Confucius Institute, visited the Valley Memorial Hall, library, Teaching Building and so on.
