From September 16 to 18, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of our university organized Hong Kong and Macao freshmen of grade 2016 to visit Shanxi Datong to carry out national investigation, seeking the historical footprint of our motherland, feeling the ancient religious culture and history style of Chinese civilization.

The national inspection activities only lasted 3 days and 2 nights, the schedule was tight but the activities were abundant, all students were excited and reluctant to leave. In the returning car, students not only deeply immersed in the unique charm of the Chinese culture, but also grew more familiar with each other through this journey and get along harmoniously as a family, many students also shown they were looking forward to more activities organized by Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office.

Hong Kong and Taiwan student national investigation is a traditional activity organized by Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, aiming to promote the communication among students from mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan and help them to better integrate into University life. At the same time, students will increase their knowledge in the beautiful scenery of our motherland and its culture, fully aware of the importance and urgency of the protection of cultural relics, inspire their identity and belonging to Chinese culture.
