In the afternoon of September 9 when the thirty-second Teachers’ Day was around the corner, Secretary Li Yuming, President Cui Xiliang and BLCU staff celebrated the thirty-second Teachers’ Day with a simple but solemn way and witnessed the opening ceremony of the new hall of BLCU. Vice President Cao Zhiyun presided over the celebration.

President Cui Xiliang extended his festive greetings and sincere wishes to the faculty and staff. He said that the university has four major tasks, personnel training, scientific research, social services and cultural heritage and innovation, and its key lies in teachers. “Teachers are to teach students skills and answer their doubts”, teachers shoulder the historical mission of educating people, they should keep in mind the mission of cultivating talents, in addition to teach students the knowledge, but also teach them the truth, wisdom and lofty sentiments.

In the newly used auditorium, the teachers and staff watched the 3D movie “He is the Dragon”, feeling the sound and light of the new auditorium, experiencing the comfortable viewing effect, celebrating the thirty-second Teachers’ Day.

The big plan of the century lies in education; the big plan of the education lies in teachers. This Teachers’ Day celebration was simple and grand, not only let the teachers feel the warmth of the family of BLCU but also reassured the major responsibility and historical mission of teachers.
