On June 20, the exhibition of Former President of the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria Professor Plamen Legiostop opened in our university. The exhibition lasted ten days and was jointly organized by the Program Department of Confucius Institute and School of Arts.

The works of this exhibition are divided into three categories: classic prints; paintings and computer graphics. The works reflect the artist’s research and reflection on the harmonious blend of Bulgaria traditional art, Chinese tradition and modern culture, Chinese and Bulgaria art and culture.

Painting “Impression of China” is the first work on theme of China, inspired by Chinese history and mythology and new circumstances appear in the work, dragon, turtles, pagoda and ancient Chinese ceramic image interweave together. Paintings “Xi’an Memory” and “Wuhan memory” reflect the rich Chinese style.
