In the evening of June 7, sponsored by the School of English Language and Literature, College of Foreign Languages, Beijing Language and Culture University “Night of Drama” and English Drama Contest was held in the Main Building 209. The theme for the activity is “Hail classics!” in order to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of Shakespeare.

Eight teams from Beijing Language and Culture University performed many classic dramas on stage, such as Oedipus Rex, The Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, Charles II, The Merchant of Venice, A Doll’s House. The performance was excellent and won much applause.

“Night of Drama” will become a cultural brand in our campus, through the drama students can feel the excellence of humanities and experience the charm of language!
