On May 11, the volunteers training for American and Canadian Confucius Institutes in 2016 was held in BLCU.
This training will base on student’s background and the characteristics of country they are going to serve, highlight the case studying, strengthen teaching practice and intercultural communicative competence, invite outstanding experts at home and abroad, Confucius Institute Deans, volunteers to share their teaching experience face to face with the trainees, build an all-around career development platform for the trainees.
The teacher team of Confucius Institute is an important pillar of the global development of the cause of Confucius Institute. Our university is one of the earliest colleges and universities to bear the training task of Confucius Institute expatriate teachers and volunteers. Up to now, we have undertaken more than 30 times training, training nearly 3000 volunteers, making an important contribution to the Chinese international education
