In the afternoon of April 15, the first Turkey cultural salon was held in BLCU. The activity was held by the School of Middle East and Yusuf Kumaş, Dr. of modern Chinese linguistics from Fudan University was invited as a guest. The activities attracted a wide range of people.
Dr. Yusuf gave a lecture entitled “Contrast between Turkey and Chinese Idioms”. He pointed that although Turkey and China is geographically far apart, in many areas the languages have striking similarities, such as leather-silhouette show and ceramics and so on.
In the discussion, the students speak freely and the atmosphere is lively. Through communication with the guests, the students have a better understanding of the culture of Turkey.
