On December 3, the second China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition and Volunteer Serve Chongqing ended in Chongqing. BLCU“Colorful Classroom – Care for the World” foreign volunteers care for migrant workers children volunteer program won the tournament national gold medal.

　　BLCU delegation carried the colorful classroom project to Chongqing, the successful completion of the pre match preparations, roadshow defense, on-site display and other aspects of the work,and eventually stood out in the 11 gold medal projects of Beijing universities, and it was the only one sponsored by the university and Chinese and foreign students as the main body of the volunteer program. Beijing Language and Culture University “Colorful Classroom – Care for the World” Chinese and foreign student volunteers cared for migrant workers children volunteer and the program has been successfully carried out for six years, more than 700 pupils was benefited through the project, which enhanced the sense of social responsibility of volunteers and showed the outstanding style of BLCUers. It has built up a platform for Chinese and foreign volunteer’s communication, promoted the exchange of the spirit of Chinese and foreign volunteer service and spread the Chinese volunteer culture to the world.
