From November 29 to December 1st, the sixth “Foreign Language Teaching Contest Cup” national college foreign language teaching contest the national finals was held in Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. BLCU‘s young teacher Liu Ying on behalf of Beijing division competition won the first prize in the contest among strong competitors in the national finals.

　　The orientation of our university’s running is to rely on foreign languages as the basis, to embody the good professional quality, humanistic quality and the language quality. The School of Applied Foreign Languages is the key to the development of the English teaching of non-English majors. The success of young teacher Liu Ying in the National English professional teaching competition fully prove the characteristics of our university.
