In the afternoon of October 28, the eleventh session of the Beijing Language and Culture University humanities academic month “Learning to Think” held a grand opening ceremony and first academic seminar in the Yi Fu hall.

　　Secretary Li Yuming proposed hope to the young students in his speech: to more concern academic frontier issues, pay close attention to the important language problems encountered in the development of the society. As a scholar, we must have the national affection, think more about social, national and human development; should be good at voicing the “sound of China”, our scholars should be able to have academic discourse power in the international stage with the voice of the Chinese people to express Chinese people’s thinking.

　　The Humanities Academic Month is a large academic exchange activities organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Beijing Language and Culture University. The Eleventh “Humanities Academic Month” is themed in “Learning to Think”, the activity is divided into three modules “asking” forum, Humanities And Social Sciences Academic Forum for postgraduates and the traditional culture and character, designed to build academic exchange platform for doctoral students, master students and outstanding undergraduate students to expand the academic vision and stimulate students’ academic enthusiasm.
