During the visit to Pakistan from April 20th to 21th, Chairman Xi Jinping met with the Pakistan friends, representatives of friendly groups, and issued “Friendship Award of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence” to them, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to promote the friendship between China and Pakistan. Pakistan National University of Modern Languages, cooperated with BLCU Islamabad Confucius Institute, and Masood Khan, the former ambassador of Pakistan and BLCU alumni were awarded because of the outstanding contributions to promote the friendly exchanges between China and Pakistan. Masood Hassan, the president of Pakistan National University of Modern Languages and Masood Khan, BLCU alumni attended the award ceremony.

　　Islamabad Confucius Institute has gone through 10 years of development history. In the past 10 years, in the unremitting efforts of all Chinese and foreign colleagues of the Confucius Institute, the Islamabad Confucius Institute has won the “Advanced Confucius Institute”, “Advanced Individual of Confucius Institute” and “Confucius Institute Pioneers” and other honors for 6 years. After ten years of development and expansion, Pakistan National University of Modern Languages cooperated sincerely with BLCU Islamabad Confucius Institute, making joint efforts to cultivate a batch after batch of Chinese specialties, and making great contributions to the Chinese teaching in Pakistan and the spread of Chinese culture.
