The First English Word DictationContest of Beijing Language and Culture University was Held

　　On May 17 afternoon, the contest finals and award ceremony of the first English Word DictationContest of Beijing Language and Culture University was successfully held in Room 209 of the main building. There were six teams, eighteen players in the finals, and they came from College of Foreign Languages,College of Translation, College of Humanities, International Business School and School of Information Science and so on.

　　There were three sessions in the final contest, and knockout was adopted. Teams scored the first three in the first two sessions would have the chance to compete in the third session. Contestants cooperated well and responded calmly. In the first session, each contestant must spell two wordsin turns. At the beginning of the contest, many contestants were a bit nervous, but after entering the second half of this session, the contestants gradually got into a groove. The second sessionwere questions for the grab, the contestants should write down the word according to the English paragraph tips and initials. Each group were serious and quickly browse the topics on the big screen, and sought answers through brainstorming and strove tobe the first to ring the Responder. The third session were questions related to videos.Each team should select a video and then listen to it and spell out the missing words.
