On March 30, local time, the 2019 spring teaching seminar sponsored by CLTA-NCR and co-sponsored by Confucius Institute at George Mason University was held in George Mason University. Nearly 60 teachers from universities, primary and secondary schools and weekend Chinese language schools in Washington D. C. attended the meeting.

The theme of this seminar is “Discussion on Chinese Teaching Strategies and Practices”. Four outstanding teachers from universities, middle schools and Hope Chinese School were invited to make keynote speeches on pronunciation and vocabulary teaching in Chinese teaching, as well as new teaching methods that have been effective in the field of Chinese teaching both at home and abroad in the past ten years, and had interactive exchanges on relevant topics.
