On June 4, a week-long Cuba the 16th “Chinese Cultural Festival” was officially opened in Cuba, the Confucius Institute at the University of Havana was invited to participate and organized the activities of the Confucius Institutes photo exhibition, an exhibition of children’s art and Chinese painting and calligraphy demo and other various exhibitions and exhibition activities.

This Chinese cultural festival had larger scale, more participants and more abundant content than in previous years. In the opening ceremony and for thereafter a week during the Cultural Festival, teachers and students of the Confucius Institute and the Cuban politics, celebrities of culture and arts talked and communicated. Confucius Institute contributed to the success of Chinese Culture Festival with full enthusiasm, and also promoted the cause of the Chinese language to a higher level with this platform!
