On October 28th, Sir Vernon Ellis----Chairperson of British Council, Mrs. Joanna Burke----Councilor of Cultural and Education Section British Embassy as well as other four guests visited BLCU and had a cordial meeting with Dong Lijun, our vice president. Sir Vernon said British Council and BLCU shared a very long history of cooperation in IELTS(International English Language Testing System), and expected the pleasant and smooth cooperation would expand to wider areas. He was also impressed with the IELTS during his field visit in BLCU.
In Asia, BLCU is the biggest IELTS test center, which enjoys a continuous and strong support from our school. Vice-president Dong Lijun remarked that currently we had inter-school exchange programs with many universities of UK, through which higher education communication was promoted and excellent teaching effect was obtained. He showed high expectation on a closer contact and communication between two sides to stabilize mutual cooperation.
